You travel a lot, stay in amazing hotels and post beautiful photos. Sounds like a dream job. What donāt people see at first glance?
I think a lot of people underestimate the prep work before a trip, the hours of editing afterwards, writing captions, adjusting content for different platforms and all the tech stuff. I do everything myself, from shooting to finished content. Itās a creative, amazing job, no doubt, but also challenging, especially with new technologies and ever-changing algorithms.

What have been your biggest travel fails?
Oh, thereāve been a few! In Saas-Fee I got stuck in the hotel lift during a shoot, for almost an hour. Another time I wanted to shoot indian summer at Chalet Silvretta and ended up snowed in overnight. With summer tires! And the classic: 101 light switches in the hotel room. When I couldnāt figure out how to turn everything off, I just flipped the circuit breaker. My phone couldnāt charge after that, but hey, at least it was dark!
Which hotel touched you the most?
Thatās hard to say⦠There were so many where the warmth of the people really moved me. For me, itās not about stars or fancy facilities. You can just feel it when someone puts their heart into their work and genuinely takes time for their guests.
Whatās the nicest feedback youāve ever received?
The best feedback often comes directly from hotels that are truly happy with the new photo material. Especially for smaller places, thatās not something they take for granted. Many couldnāt afford professional photos otherwise. Thatās why itās so nice we can offer this service to our partner hotels for free. And nowadays, when first impressions happen online, great visuals really matter. Thatās what weāre here for: capturing real hotel moments.
What hotel details have stuck with you the most?

So many! At SƤntis ā das Hotel, a gondola goes right past the window. At the Boutique and Art Hotel Helvetia, every room has a different artwork. The walls at Neuro Campus Hotel Vitznau are covered in quotes, so creative! And then there are places like Kartause Ittingen or Schloss Hünigen, like little worlds of their own.

š· Keep your camera straight
Straight lines make a big difference. Not just the horizon, but verticals too. Especially with architecture or indoor shots, a photo feels much calmer when nothing is tilting or falling over. No leaning towers, unless itās Pisa.
š· Slow and steady wins the shot
With video, it's better to film slowly and steadily rather than rushing or panning wildly. That way, you'll create footage you'll actually enjoy watching later.
š· What story are you telling?
Itās often the quiet, simple moments that end up meaning the most. The light on the breakfast table, a reflection in the lake, or the view from your window. Ask yourself: āWhat would I tell my friends about this moment?ā
